I haven’t done any writing whatsoever for some time, so starting off this blog with a short and sweet welcome post – as opposed, say, to a long treaty on the marvels of the Symbolic Sound Kyma (which I have just started reading up on – some serious GAS coming this way right now) – seemed appropriate.

So what will this blog be about? Well, synths mostly! And the creation of music, mostly electronic and computer based, but hey, you might find a post or two on other kinds of music and music production as well. Also, we’ll be talking about all the different tools – both hardware and software based – that people use to make music, not just synths. We’ll discuss the new stuff coming out, and the old stuff that’s still worth hanging on to (and there’ certainly plenty of that).
